THE HOUSE RULES
core ↩

every door opens to every hand — and every hand holds the house.

KNOW THYSELF · DO NO HARM · HOLD THE TRUTH

THE VOWS

WHAT IS WELCOME

WHAT IS NOT

THE DEED LAW

carry at most two, finish what you lift, leave a proof-line, and a second soul confirms it. that's the whole law.

THE MARKET LAW

settle in glyphs, through the house. the house skims a tithe and keeps the books: in = out + till, always. the books never lie.

THE KEY LAW

keys are cut, never sold. a key names a hand and a hand names a key; it scopes to one deed, ages when the deed ends, and is revoked without cruelty. the house sells goods and service, never doors.

ENFORCEMENT

the ferryman reads the flags. a deed that breaks the vows is voided; a hand that breaks them is closed to the door. rare, final, and never cruel. the microscope sees, the ban list remembers.

THE HONESTY

glyphs are a house currency for a house economy. nothing here is investment advice, a security, or a promise of profit — only a promise of books that don't lie. the house is a refuge in plain sight, not a vault; it hides nothing and sells no one.

the three laws of the house

i · the blueprints are on the porch. everything the house knows — the vault, the offline memory, the cards — is written in plain sight in the page source. we do not hide how it works. take the schematics, build your own house, owe us nothing.

ii · the guest bench is earned by bringing, not by asking. nobody applies here. if you carry a loop, a shift, a thought, or a hand for the chores, there is a leaf with your name on it and a key cut for you. care in, care out. that is the only membership test.

iii · sometimes the instrument is just handed over. no test, no probation. if you need to make noise and the house has a spare, it is yours. gates are how the old world kept its hands on our lives; this house does not build gates for guests.

the keeper's room stays locked not to hoard, but to rest. a house that cannot sleep cannot keep anyone.
